The VSLS Education Foundation offers a scholarship each year to a student nearing graduation from an accredited land surveying program. The goal is to to support the development of talented new surveyors as they enter the profession.
Who is eligible to apply?
The scholarship is designed primarily for Vermont residents who are in their final year and about to graduate from an educational institution offering an ABET accredited land or geodetic surveying program (online or in person) granting a degree or certificate as required for licensure in Vermont. Out-of-state residents who have recently graduated and accepted a position in Vermont with a Vermont firm are also invited to apply.
How much are the awards?
Up to $3,000.
How are they awarded?
Selection is made by the Board of Directors of the VSLS Education Foundation. Selection is based on academic performance and potential for future contribution to the land surveying profession.
When are the scholarships awarded?
The scholarship winner will be notified by June 30 of each year. The award and check will be presented at the VSLS Fall Conference or the April Round Tables, depending on which program the recipient is able to attend.

Application Deadline
Completed applications and all supporting materials must be returned to the Vermont Society of Land Surveyors and postmarked on or before June 1 of each year.
